Hi, I'm Monique and I am a Licensed Master Cosmetologist who believes that healthy hair begins with a healthy scalp, quality customer service should be the norm and overbooking is a no go. Affluence Beauty & Wellness specializes in microloc maintenance (using the interlocking method), microloc repair and healthy hair consultations for those who are struggling with reaching their hair goals.

A 20 minute in-person consultation is required before services are performed. This will give me the opportunity to analyze the current condition of your hair and scalp. Schedule your in-person consultation today so that I can assess the current condition of your hair and scalp.

All appointments require a $35 nonrefundable deposit. This deposit will be added towards the total cost of your service.

Microlocs Install (Interlock Method)

$997+

This package includes a consultation, hair & scalp analysis, test locs and your first retie.

Must have at least 4 Inches of hair when stretched. .Additional $50 per additional inch. Cannot exceed 7 inches of hair when stretched.

You will receive a quote for the install at your consultation. A consultation is required for all services.

Microlocs Retie (No Style) - Includes Shampoo

$70 per hour

A retie should be conducted every 4 to 6 weeks. The amount of time it takes to perform this service is approx. 3 to 4 hours. This time can be affected by the amount of new growth, if there are any tangles and the length of your hair. This service includes a shampoo. A consultation is required for all services.

Microlocs Repair (No Style)

$50 per hour

Do you have holes in your microlocs? Book this service if you would like them repaired. A consultation is required for all services. Final Price Will Be Given At Your Consultation.

What are Microlocs?

Microlocs are small locs that are done using the interwoven / interlocking method, other methods can be used, but I only use the interwoven / interloc method. Microlocs also have a uniform parting grid. Microlocs give you freedom from the constant maintenance of loose hair. They can be curled, styled and colored. Discover why so many women are loving microlocs.

Are Microlocs the same as Sista locs?

Yes, the only difference is that all Sista Locs consultants are required to use the same parting grid and tool. Their grid consists of bigger grid in the middle of the head and a smaller grid around the perimeter of the head. Microlocs have the same size grid for the entire head.

Are Microlocs cheaper than Sista locs?

No. This is a misconception. They both are used with the same method (Interlocking) and they booth take the same amount of time to install or retie.

What method do you use to install microlocs?

I only use the interlocking method.

How long is the Microloc maintenance/retightening service?

Depending on how much new growth you have, how tangled your new growth is, the size of your grid pattern and how long your hair is, this service can last approx. 3-4 hours. It is highly recommended that you have your reties done every 4-6 weeks or your retie will take longer and additional fees will be applied. The final price will be given to you your consultation.

Is there a length requirement for a Microlocs Install?

Yes. When stretched, your hair must be at least four inches long all over for Microloc Installations, not to exceed seven inches.

Are you certified in microlocs?

Yes. I have dedicated the time and money into gaining the skills, education and certification so that I can provide quality services to my clients. I am also a licensed Master Cosmetologist.
